My name is Pete White, and my wife and I live in a little market town in the UK called Tring, Hertfordshire.
By day I'm a lighting technician in the TV and film industry, and by night I'm either playing in Bands or writing.
I caught Covid in March 2021 and had to take 10 days off of work.
It was at the height of the pandemic and lots of people were dying from this horrible virus.
Being type 1 diabetic myself, I was quite concerned.
I decided to take my mind off of what might or might not happen and woke up early one morning with an idea for a story.
Well, the start of one anyway.
Three days into it, writing had become a bit of an obsession and I wrote for 6-10 hours a day (much to my wife's frustration) and finished the first draft in just over a week.

The book is about a student who is in his last year of university, and travels with his family to visit his grandparents in the country.
After spending some time with his grandfather, he is entrusted with a secret, something that happened whilst growing up in a post war London.
This changes everything for him and triggers a chain of events that could cost him his life.
I published it on the Amazon kindle KDP site on the 29th September 2022 and it is available now in paperback, or e-book for kindle or other devices with the kindle reader app.
